Welcome to Meadow Kindergarten

Meadow Kindergarten is a family run business, which prides itself on quality, affordable childcare, with a warm, friendly, homely atmosphere. Our staff were carefully selected for their bubbly, caring personalities, as well as their excellent qualifications and experience. Our staff have level three qualifications, some have level 4, or are working towards level 4. All have Medic/First aid certificates, with a good knowledge of special educational needs, and child protection.

Meadow Kindergarten has been registered with OFSTED by the current owner since 2003 although a nursery has been on the same site for the last 19 years.

It operates from a single storey and facilities comprise of large playroom area, for children from 2-5 years. A large designated baby unit which caters for up to 15 babies, from 3 months to 2 years. A dining/messy play area, kitchen, children's toilets and reception area. A large outdoor area is provided to the front and side of the nursery, we are situated in a quiet location off Whitegate Drive, Blackpool.

Meadow Kindergarten understands the importance of a healthy and balanced diet, particularly in the early stages of physical development for a child.

We recognise the importance of childrens development and wellbeing. Therefore they need a healthy balanced diet which contains the right nutrients and as a setting we work towards supplying the children with the governments recommended five portions of fresh fruit and vegetables every day.We proactively encourage the children to try out new foods.

The children are introduced to an interesting and varied range of snacks and meals which allows them to experience different tastes, textures and food types.

We also provide fresh milk, fruit juices and water throughout the day to ensure that the children are always well hydrated, particularly in the summer months when they do lot's of running around and playing outside in our extensive outdoor play area/gardens.
